Merchandise Return Policy

Whatever the reason, If you are not entirely satisfied with the product(s) that you have received, you may return it (them) to us within a maximum period of 30 days following reception.
The merchandise must be returned to the following address:

In order to be accepted, you must first notify the Customer Services department of the Lightandconcept company and return the merchandises in their original condition and package with the accompanying documents as well as the return merchandise authorisation number, or RMA number. This number is obtained from our on-line store (please read further to find out how to obtain the RMA number).
The given return number must be visible on the return package and the return slip printed and included inside to the return package.

If you were sent a wrong or defective product the shipping fees paid by the client shall be reimbursed by the company Lightandconcept upon proof of payment and within the limit of a standard UPS shipment.

Non-compliance with the above stated procedure will result in the refusal of your return claim for non-conformity of the return procedure.

All additional incurred shipping fees are non-reimbursable.

In order to begin the return process you must go to "My account/Order history" and select the invoice corresponding to the product(s) you wish to return, if the expiry period for returns has not yet expired, then the 'return' link will be provided on the top right of the invoice:

"Create Return"

Click on this link and follow the steps indicated for creating an on-line return request. Once the return request submitted, you will be sent a return merchandise authorisation number (RMA) that must be sent with the product.  You then have 15 days to return the product.
After 15 days, the return authorisation expires and no replacement or reimbursement may be granted.

After receipt of your article, you have two weeks to inspect the product(s) and inform Lightandconcept of any manufacturing defect or damage that occurred before delivery.

Lightandconcept shall undertake to repair or replace the damaged or defective products at no additional cost; however, if merchandise return is the preferred option, then restocking fees may apply.
No replacement or reimbursement shall be granted in the event where the client does not notify us of defective or damaged merchandise within the two weeks following its reception.

Special cases: large orders.

Orders that contain more than 10 articles or where the invoice total exceeds 2000 € are classified as "large orders" by Lightandconcept.

Client liability during product return.

It is the client responsibility to repack the products with sufficient packing material into the original box. It is in the client's interest to ensure the package. Articles damaged during return transport due to inadequate packing will not be replaced nor reimbursed.

We recommend taking out additional insurance with UPS if required for return of the material. If the product is damaged during return shipping, Lightandconcept shall inform the client by mail that the products were received damaged and the product shall be held for a maximum of 45 days. It is the client's responsibility to submit a claim with the transporter and inform Lightandconcept concerning the situation of the damaged product. If Lightandconcept has not received notification or an answer from the client within 45 days, the terms of return shall be considered void.

Order cancellation

Articles that have not been shipped may be cancelled as long as the product was not custom made or as a special order. Some cancelled orders may incur cancellation fees from the manufacturer (roughly 20% of the manufacturing cost of the product).

The following orders may not be returned or reimbursed

"Large orders: (order quantities containing 10 or more articles, or whose invoice total is greater than 2000 €).
"Bulbs, accessories or parts, except in the event of error on the part of our delivery service.
"Made to order products - unless defective.
"Special purchases, such as: clearance items or discount items, special constructions or special allowances...
"Priority delivery.

Refund

The client shall be reimbursed once the article is returned, received and verified.

Returned articles shall be reimbursed by the same means of purchase or if you prefer, we can send you a store credit (or a gift certificate) in the amount of your invoice.

Reimbursement shall be credited to the credit card originally used for purchase or by cheque issued by Lightandconcept Ltd. Reimbursement by cheque is generally issued within 15 business days following final approval. Articles returned without the RMA (return slip) , or articles returned to the wrong location may delay the refund procedure.
